Riverside Design Group is a tabletop design business with a passion for style and a commitment to service. We are dedicated to being innovative, supportive of our community, and sensitive to the environment. Our efforts include operating out of an energy efficient LEED certified building, using recyclable and sustainable materials including glass with recycled content, and using light-weight recycled shipping materials to keep our carbon footprint low. As a part of our commitment to community service and support, we developed Plates With Purpose™, a line of plates that raises funds to support vital non-profit community organizations.
Founded in 1996, our company grew out of an idea to revitalize manufacturing in Western Pennsylvania by introducing new products suitable for museums and gift stores. Today, we are a full fledged design business servicing hotels, restaurants, boutiques, caterers, home furnishing stores, corporations, museum and gift stores with fine, handcrafted tableware and specialty products. The products you see on our website are a limited selection of the designs we produce and inventory. For more information on product capabilities, contact us… we would love to hear from you.

Always asking questions, she has a knack for listening, bringing people together and building relationships both in and out of the office. She lives in, and adores Pittsburgh, PA.

A problem solver and creative thinker, Grant helped build Riverside from the ground up as an opportunity to work more closely with his wife and daughter. As an Architect with over three decades of multifaceted design and business experience he brings a lot to the table. To say he is productive is an understatement, as he is always designing, sketching, thinking and experimenting. He is passionate about good design and giving 100%. Notable achievements include an Army Commendation medal, Principal designer on numerous award winning projects, and dinnerware in the permanent collection of the Brooklyn Museum. He is also the life of the party, working on his golf game, loves a bourbon Manhattan, and can tear up the dance floor.

It was hard to find a title that encompasses all that Heidi does, but it’s safe to say that Customer Service is at the top of the list. She loves to get to know people and helping others is a borderline obsession. Heidi has a Fine Arts background and is a tinkerer by nature. Transforming everyday objects has always been a thing of hers, and even lead her to develop a line of jewelry called Warehaus, sourced from the occasional broken plate, foam tiles, and bumpons found in the Riverside warehouse. Raising and herding two grade school boys has trained her for all types of customer success responsibilities.
